Ashampoo Burning Studio 2020 1.21.3 [Freeware]







The program is configured through a straightforward set of wizards that allow you to customize the various parameters. Choose the size of the disc and burn your files to it, or burn and copy discs in a snap. It has an intuitive interface, making it easy to use, and even though it isn't an all-in-one solution it's still one of the best burning programs available. It is compatible with a vast array of formats, making it a standout performer when compared with its competition. **Figure 16-3:** The default interface for Ashampoo Burning Studio Free. | --- | --- ## Déjà vu all over again The default interface shown in Figure 16-3 is the control panel, which is what you use to navigate Ashampoo Burning Studio Free. In Figure 16-3, I've used the tool icons to specify the options for the disc I want to create. I'm going to burn the contents of the MP3 files in the Documents folder to an audio CD, with the default options. The default options are the only options that are allowed to be selected by default when you install this program. As you saw in Chapter 15, your default options are defined in the _bmisc.ini_ file and are specified by the `Burn` and `CD` properties. The controls that I've selected are shown in Figure 16-4. **Figure 16-4:** You can define the default settings for the disc you create in the Settings dialog box. You can define a default disc in the Settings dialog box, which is shown in Figure 16-4, by setting the `DefaultDisc` property. Simply open the Settings dialog box and choose the `DefaultDisc` option from the File Type drop-down list. .jpg) If you can't choose the option from the drop-down list, simply press Ctrl+Enter to put an exclamation point (!) in the `DefaultDisc` field.
